Join us for a prenatal workshop offered June 22nd!
One of the most anticipated experiences for new parents is creating a baby registry and a space in their home for baby. However, this can also be an overwhelming experience with lots of conflicting advice! We recommend keeping it simple, and focusing on items that will support breastfeeding and development vs clutter and gadgets promoted by the baby industry that sometimes interfere with breastfeeding success or infant development. Keep in mind, organizations like the AAP widely recommend keeping baby in your room at night for the first six months. We suggest setting up the nursery Montessori style and focusing on versatile items that will be useful into toddlerhood.
Below are items we trust, find useful, and feel support breastfeeding success, ease and bonding when used properly. However, we also feel you can get by with just diapers and a few outfits if you want to take a minimalist approach! We earn a small commission from Amazon links at no extra charge to you. Also be sure to check out the list of items we DON'T recommend at the bottom.
