Prenatal Consultations
Ideally scheduled in the third trimester after completion of a breastfeeding class, this one-on-one consultation will review mother's medical history to check for any conditions or medications that may affect breastfeeding, ensure mother is prepared for what to expect the first few days breastfeeding, go over supplies and measurement for pump flanges, and answer any questions or concerns. The environment set in the moments after birth and first week of breastfeeding has a dramatic affect on long term success and positive experience. Moms who complete this prenatal consultation are prepared and confident about their ability to successfully breastfeed and nurture their soon-to-arrive little one. An in-depth Personalized Care Plan will be sent to mother and OBGYN within 24 hours after appointment.
This consultation is included as part of a private Comprehensive Breastfeeding Class.

Breastfeeding Essentials Private Class
3 Hour Class - $200 if Lactation Network Approved or $400 for Self-Pay

This private class will empower you to successfully breastfeed and avoid/minimize common problems such as low milk supply, baby that won't latch, painful nipples, etc by exploring the 3 Secrets to Success you absolutely want to know before birth. Once the essential foundation for success has been laid, you'll find out how to develop a routine that works for you and baby, how/when to start pumping and planning for return to work/school, how to incorporate breastfeeding into your lifestyle, and other personalized topics that will set you up for a positive breastfeeding experience. You'll finish inspired and encouraged, looking forward to the special closeness you will share with your baby through breastfeeding! Your support person (baby's dad, grandma, best friend, etc) is encouraged to attend. Includes complementary prenatal consultation. This private class is usually held within your home, ideally in a room with a TV. Please email carolyn@LKNBreastfeedingSolutions.com if you would like it to be held in a classroom/office.

Supplemental Breastfeeding Class
90 Minutes - Free if Lactation Network approved or $200 for Self-Pay
How to book: Schedule a prenatal consult and type "supplemental breastfeeding class" in the section titled "your goals for this appointment."
This private class is recommended in addition to your hospital's breastfeeding class or as a refresher for 2nd/3rd time moms who have previously breastfed. Using our condensed Breastfeeding Essentials Class curriculum, you will be empowered to successfully breastfeed and avoid/minimize common problems such as low milk supply, baby that won't latch, painful nipples, etc by exploring the 3 Secrets to Success you absolutely want to know before birth. You'll leave inspired and encouraged, looking forward to the special closeness you will share with your baby through breastfeeding! Your support person (your partner, mom, best friend, etc) is encouraged to attend.
